The Parkway Digital team loves Buffalo’s resurgence, craft beer and small businesses. When Pressure Drop Brewing asked us to build a website that would encompass all of these things when they opened in 2018, we were pretty excited to get to work.

After two years and a few award-winning beers, the brewery was ready to expand their digital presence. There was no way we could ignore the flashy can art everyone has come to know Pressure Drop Brewing for. We settled on a colorful website refresh that lets everyone know just how big the brewery’s personality is. Now, space monkeys, struggle busses and screaming Citra hops welcome craft beer drinkers to the brewery’s corner of the internet.

A brewery website comes with a few extra steps, including age verification. We implemented this technical element to prompt first-time site visitors to verify that they are indeed of legal drinking age before entering the website.

Optimizing for success in the search results

One of the challenges of brewery SEO is outranking all of the other websites that talk about your beers: Untappd, Beeradvocate, restaurants, news articles and more. Pressure Drop Brewing took their website from one page to 10, giving us the ability to highlight their flagship beers and collabs with optimized content.

During a website redesign like this one, we use existing search data to optimize new and repurposed content. The Parkway Digital team incorporated the phrases people already use to find Pressure Drop Brewing into new website copy. Just weeks after launch, organic clicks and impressions are already growing
